The DJSI is an index jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United States and Robeco Holding B.V. (“RobecoSAM”) in Switzerland in 1999. The index evaluates companies from the perspective of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria, and selects leading enterprises for inclusion in the DJSI. The constituents of DJSI are reviewed annually; 153 companies including 77 Japanese companies were selected for DJSI Asia Pacific in 2021 from among 600 companies in the Asia-Pacific region.

Kyocera received high marks in the selection process for its proactive disclosure of corporate social responsibility efforts in a range of areas, including human rights, diversity & inclusion, and supply chains management.

Kyocera will continue to enhance communications and disclosures with stakeholders in order to increase its value to society as a responsible enterprise.
